Last week I started to ride my bicycle near the place where I live in Lisbon. I've always enjoyed this but have never done it before here. I like the way my mind has to negotiate with my body about how long my body will put up with the physical endurance; how long it will let my eyes rest upon that moving landspace. I like the sensation of the wind in my face. I love it when I have to stop to admire an amazing picturesque landscape that simply has to be seen still.
Once in Lisbon - if you like to ride bicycles - go to PARQUE DAS NAÇÕES (oriente subway station) and, once there, rent a bike and allow yourself a moment of pure joy!
